LAPL – PILOT LICENSE FOR LIGHT AIRCRAFT

Minimum of 17 years of age for airplanes and helicopters and 16 years for gliders and balloons. General: The LAPL holder’s powers are to act without remuneration as pilot-in-command in non-commercial operations in the appropriate aircraft category.

LAPL(A) for aircraft >> act as pilot-in-command in single-engine piston or TMG (powered glider) aircraft with a maximum certified take-off mass of 2,000 Kg or less, carrying a maximum number of 3 passengers, so that never there are more than 4 people on board the plane.

LAPL(H) for helicopter >> act as pilot-in-command of a single-engine helicopter with a maximum certified take-off mass of 2,000 Kg or less, carrying a maximum number of 3 passengers, so that there are never more than 4 people on board the helicopter.

LAPL(S) for glider >> act as pilot in command of gliders and motorsailers (TMG), for the latter the pilot must also comply with the requirements of the FCL-135.

LAPL(B) for balloons >> act as pilot in command of hot air balloons or hot air airships with a maximum sail capacity of 3,400 m ³  or gas balloons with a maximum sail capacity of 1,200 m ³  , which carry a maximum of 3 passengers, in such a way that there are never more than 4 people on board the aircraft.

RPAS with a maximum takeoff weight of up to 25 kg.

Remember:

– The clinical analysis (blood and urine) will be carried out at the same time as the medical examination with a minimum fast of 5 hours.

– You must provide optical examination results if you have visual correction.

– Provide medical records if applicable.
